I'm a PhD student in my mid-20s.
About my Loss:
My boyfriend unexpectedly, accidentally killed himself in a drunken car accident late at night trying to surprise me because he thought I was mad at him or just upset (I'd hurt myself, it was minor, felt big at the time) and he wanted to fix it. I found out when I woke up that he was gone and people were searching for me to make sure I wasn't dead, too.
