About Me:
I will be 53 years old and I am retired. I have three grown children and 4 grandchildren. I am divorced.
About my Loss:
I lost my big brother in 1990 at the age of 41. In 2001 my mother died. Then my little brother died in 2007, I ended my married of 33 years with many ups and downs, I changed job and home. Last my father died in 2008. My siblings and parents are gone and I realized when my companion left that I do not believe I every went though the griefing process for any of these losses.

Does anyone else feel pressure to always reply because you're afraid it'll be the last conversation?

Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can.
