About Me:
I am a married 51 yr old mother who lost my only child on December 8, 2017. I am new to everything about this process and desperately looking to see how others cope.
About my Loss:
My loss is my daughter Erika. She is my only child. She has been gone since Dec. 8 2017 and I still don't know what happened to her only that she was found in her bed deceased. Waiting on toxicology report. Erika was 33 yrs old and no children. Ithe has been such a short time in and I'm struggling with identity such as...am I still a mother? I really don't know if it matters whether you have 10 children or 1 as far as traumatic loss but only having 1 for 33 yrs and no grandchildren seems to be quite different. I hope to find out what seems normal and what doesnt.

Grandma sewing room
