About my Loss:
My mother was pulled out of Lazy River at Sea World. When I found out my whole world started spinning. She was just on vacation and was gonna visit me on her way back home. When we arrived at the hospital nothing could prepare me for what I saw. She was not responding to anything. She was suppose to be better by the time I arrived. The induce coma was suppose to help the brain swelling. However three days later, the day of the Brickyard 500 in 2009, I remember telling her how excited she'd be if she just woke up cause her favorite driver Stewart was winning. She didn't wake up, I had to sign for her to be taken off life support because I was the oldest, actually second but my older brother is down syndrome. So it's all on me. I have to sign the paper that will end her life. I know in my head I did what I had to do, but in my heart I still wonder all the WHAT IFS. I feel like I killed her sometimes and the pain seems to much to bare. I try talking with people, but no one understands how deep the pain of signing a request for removal of life support is. It doesn't seem to get easier.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
