About Me:
Happily married for 23 years to my best friend Dave. We a son and daughter in college plus one very spoiled dog. I enjoy reading, surfing the net, a quiet walk with my husband or a rented DVD when my son is home from college, shopping with my daughter and being outside whenever I can.
About my Loss:
I've lost my Mom and my best friend July 14, 2010. My Mom and I spoke every morning, we either talked about the show on the night before or what was happening in our family. She was such a wonderful person, always found the best in everyone she met. She had lots of health problems in her later years and lived with daily back pain. I never understood how God could let her be in such pain all the time but now she is pain free. I still miss her so much!

I am sorry for your loss, I lost my grandma on December 6, 2010.  When I was reading "About my loss" it reminded me how my mom would talk to her mom (my grandma) every night before heading to bed talking about what is happening with our family and talked about what shows they watched.

My Fathers Loss

I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
