About Me:
Lover of warm weather, dogs, the outdoors,to read and overall get to know others.
About my Loss:
I lost my mother in September 2013, after having just lost my stepdad 10 weeks prior. I am the oldest child, in my late 20s. My stepdad died of cancer so we were prepared. However, my mother died suddenly, and it has been devastating beyond words.

Hi Rachel , And your right it is a club no none wants to be a member of but unfortunately we all must be a member of a club at some point.. sigh...

My condolences to you for your losses as well , It seems we a at least one in common, Our MOMs , I think for me it's particularly hard because mine had always been a fighter and won her battles so this time I was in a state of shock when she passed away so last Saturday.  Thanks giving was really hard , I hope you felt that she was watching over you and surround you with her love.

If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost.
