About Me:
48 years old Office Manager for Architect's office, mother to 2 kids (daughter 23 & son 21). I have 3 chihuahuas who I dearly love as well as a spitz mix named Pixie and a cat named Miss Kitty. I am a Christian.
About my Loss:
My husband, David, lost his valiant fight with fatty liver disease on April 7, 2012 at 7:55 a.m. at home surrounded by his brother, 2 sisters, myself, Hospice nurse and caregiver. David's breathing had become labored and I just felt that I needed to say something to him. So, I let go of his hand and stood up and leaned down close to his ear. I told him it was okay for him to let go now and that everything was going to be okay. I told him that he would be able to see again and to walk again and thre would be no more pain. I told him that I loved him and I kissed him and sat back down and took his hand in mine. He took 3 more breaths and he was gone. It was the hardest thing I've ever experienced but I know he is now at peace.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
