- My friends call me Paula. I am 61 yrs old. And I am the mother of three sons: Bob, 41, living; Joe, 40, deceased; Kevin, 31, living. Grandmother of Mercedes, 16, surviving daughter of Joe. Soon to be Grandmother Baby Boy, July 2015, Kevin and Julienne.
- About my Loss:
- My granddaughter, Mercedes, and her Mom, Sherry, came to my home Feb. 22, 2015 to tell me that my son, Mercedes' dad had died doe to a drug overdose. Other members of my family we made aware of Joe's death through FB and made every effort to be with me, as not to be alone when I heard. Everything has changed that split second...that was three months ago when part of me also died.
