About Me:
Hi everyone! i am a widow with 4 children.I work as a nurse full time. I have a great support system with family & friends. I still feel alone. I thought maybe reaching out to others who have experienced a loss would be helpful.
About my Loss:
My husband passed away 1-25-2010 from throat cancer after a 16 mo battle. He was 42yrs old. Our children at the time where 2,4,5,& 8. When he passed we had just been married for 9 yrs not long for all that we accomplished in that time. I had dated him 2 yrs prior. I was so devastating for i was 37 and making decisions that I never thought would be making til we were much older.It has been 2 1/2 yrs and I have accomplished a lot since then. Working, kids schedules with school & sports, finding time for myself to get out with friends & working out. This fall my health took a turn. I was hospitalized for 2wks & just now getting back to work. I feel like a emotional wreck. I try to stay busy but life has slowed me down. i feel like all these feelings are surfacing & not sure how to cope now. I miss my partner, my best friend, my everything....

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
