About Me:
I am looking to meet new people who are going through similar circumstances.
About my Loss:
I lost my father on January 6th, 2011. He passed during the night which they believe was due to a heart attack. My dad and I weren't very close majority of my life. I would say in about October of 2010 he left his girlfriend of 10 years, and started calling me almost every night. We would have long talks and I was so excited to be able to have a second chance at getting to know my Dad. I had a very hard time because I was so used to being rejected by him that it was different than what I was used to. I remember, I was sick with tonsillitis, and I wanted to call him the night he passed, but I thought "I'll call him when I feel better", little did I know the phone call I was going to be receiving early the next morning.

I am so sorry for your loss...I too had a close relationship with my dad until I was about 10 years old then things changed and we were distant for the rest of the time he was alive but got closer and tried to make up for lost time about a couple of years before he passed away of cancer.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
