About my Loss:
This past September I lost my father to cancer. He fought it for about 2 years he had progressed and was gaining strength every week until suddenly he collapsed one day, that started our last three days with him. About 2 months before this I had to leave my dream college (VMI) because of arthritis. Leaving school hurt but allowed me to spend more time with dad. I can no longer hold in my pain because very recently I started dating a wonderful girl, the reason I asked her out was my fathers last advice to me "son never let the one(girl) slip by because your to afraid to get rejected, the worst she can say is no" also I keep mentally bringing up the image of him on his last day reaching out his arms to hug my grown sister and myself. Please tell me the pain will start to ease soon...

Grandma sewing room
