About Me:
I'm 24 yrs old. I live in Norfolk,VA. I'm originally from baker county, Florida about 30 minutes West of Jacksonville. I'm a country girl that spent the last 10 yrs in the city. I lost my father last June , almost a year now. I thankfully still havemy wonderful mother. She is my biggest support throughout this time.
About my Loss:
I had my son Brandon on February 13, 2013. He was my everything. He gave me a purpose in life. He made me into a greater woman i could've ever imagined being. I'm forever grateful for that. He passed on march 30, 2013 . It was a tragic accident. My stepson , 15 yrs old laid down with him, and feel asleep. He ended up rolling on the baby and suffocating him. It hurts so bad to imagine what his last few moments where like. It's only been a little over a week, and i feel like I'm doing exceptionally well under the.circumstances. I hold my self together for the 15 yr olds sake. Brandon was my first child and it seemslike the 6 weeks he was here with us was just a dream. I miss him dearly, i stay strong for my fiancee and my step kids. I know it was a accident and understanding Brandon came into our lives and touched allot of hearts. Understanding he had a special job to do upstairs in heaven, it just hurts and trying to accept it was just his time. Please pray for myself and my family throughout this time. Thanx

Natalie ~ I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your family will be in my prayers. I know this will be hard for you to do, but for the sake of the 15 year old try to get him to talk about his experience. If not with you or his father, then with a pastor or other trained professional. He needs the assurance it was not his fault. I might suggest as a family you all sit down and talk about this with a counselor. Trust me it will help. Another suggestion is each person write down their feelings in a journal. They can choose to share them with the family or not that should be up to them, but it would give them a safe place to vent their fears, frustrations and pain. I am glad you have the support of your mother, but know also you have the support of each of us here.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
