- About Me:
- Single never married 40-year-old male in NC. I have been so consumed helping my ailing parents, I live in a home I bought before my mom passed in a town that depressed me as achild, and now I am somewhat stuck here trying to figure out how to make it through without them. I feel like happiness has not visited me for even moment in quite a while. Now what, depression and grief alone in a place I don't want to be. So lonely.
- About my Loss:
- Lost my mother 4 years ago to pancreatic cancer and this evening 1/7/14 I lost my father to cancer. Must what's left of my family fall apart over trivial amounts of power or money.

My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Sorry Moshe... my mom and dad both passed away several years ago and it leaves such a hole... and for ME I felt like I lost a layer of something like 'protection'... maybe it was the loss of their prayers for me... don't know..
NC is pretty close to the warmer states... maybe go south... I would if I could... here in my state its COLD and gray and depressing... that surely doesn't help... we lost our youngest son at the beach in SC last summer, so even if I could go to the warm beaches somewhere, I doubt it would be good for me now.... nothing seems to be...
