About Me:
I am 46 years old. My brother was diagnosed with chirosis of the liver in 2006 and came to live with me. It was so great to have my brother back and sober. He stayed sober and got on the transplant list and waited almost three years.My brother received the call for a liver on 1/9/09 and was transplanted on 1/10/09. After about six weeks and another transplant on 2/1/09, they discovered that he had pulmonary hypertension. To make a long story short, after being in ICU and on the vent for 53 days he was taken off life support on March 3.
About my Loss:
This has been the hardest thing I have ever been through. I still cry. I miss my best friend daily.
