About Me:
I am 30, gay and recently married to my husband.
About my Loss:
My family and I lost my father suddenly almost 1 year ago to a heart attack. He was the patriarch of the family. My parents had a wonderful marriage. My Dad owned his own business and my mother a loving supportive stay at home wife. My mother's side of the family are estranged and for the most part, she only has me, my husband, and my two brothers and their spouses as well as 2 grandchildren that support her world. It's been very difficult for all of us to deal with such a great loss.

My husband and I have been having some marital problems. He has felt like he is not #1 in my world, and I believe he is jealous of the amount of time I spend with my mother which in the past year has dwindled from at least 5 days a week multiple phone calls everyday, to a phone call every day not in my husband's presence, and visiting her while he is at work, maybe twice a week. As well as still being available for him the second he is free from work. I have been trying very hard to be there to support my mother and my husband, yet I'm finding in the midst of all of this that I am lacking support from my husband and I am becoming bitter and resentful to his anger/jealousy along with feeling isolated and powerless. Has any one else experienced this???

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
