About Me:
I am a creative perfectionist. I have a Master's in Counseling, but I am homebound due to illness. I am a freelance writer and also just started my own business regarding suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
About my Loss:
Four years ago I lost my brother to suicide. He was 28. Now I am losing my mom...she practices a religion that doesn't believe in medical diagnoses or treatment and has been in a facility for the last 9 months. She's still here physically, but I am already grieving our relationship.

I recently founded TreasureLives. Our vision includes the development of a mental health awareness curriculum from grade school through college and mental health advocacy for seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. We have a YouTube channel which will broadcast testimonies of lives saved from suicide attempts as well as memorials of lives lost. We also sponsor an eBay store through which sellers can designate a percentage of their sales to the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program. www.treasurelives.org

Grandma sewing room
