About Me:
My husband,Harlan, and I met at a cancer support group named Gilda' s Club. He had stage 4Brain Cancer & I had stage 3a Breast Cancer. We married 8month of dating. We celebrated 10yrs of wedded bliss. I miss him so much.
About my Loss:
I knew eventually the cancer would kill him but I feel so guilty because I was at work and wasn't there to be with him. Still feel that I failed him somehow. I went home early due to blood sugar was all haywire. I left my phone in living room a d I went to rest. Apparently the nursing home tried to contract me and couldn't reach me. My mother-in-law and I were notified of his death by a police officer came to the apartment. Since his passing I haven't been taking very good care of my health and hygiene (laundry & cleaning the apartment). I don't see why I shall continue with going on without him is meaningless. When my family celebrate their wedding anniversaries hits hard emotionally. I won't be able to do the same. I finally felt lovable with him. Now I wonder if I will ever be loved like that again. I feel so all alone. His mom and I live together but his presence is sorely missed.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
