About my Loss:
My grandfather was 86 years old. Been healthy all his life up until about 6 months ago. He found out he was hospitalized for congestive heart failure. He also found out he was diabetic. A few weeks ago he had a toe removed due to an infection setting in. He refused to stay in the hospital to continue treatment so when he went back to the doctor for a follow up they told him they would have to amputate his leg if he did not go back to the hospital for IV antibiotics. He could not handle this and decided to take his own life this past Sunday while my grandmother (who is in early stages of Alzheimers) was at church. This shocked our family and now we are all sitting around asking ourselves WHY and feeling every kind of emotion.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
