About Me:
I am 47 years old. I am married and have a 24 year old daughter and am unemployed.
About my Loss:
I lost my Mother on Sept 2nd 2012 suddenly from cardiac arrest. There was no warning. I was texting her and an hour after the last text I received the call from the police officer saying they did everything they could. My mother lived in a 55 an older community with my Dad in NJ about 2 hrs from me. My Dad had started showing signs of alzhiemers years before but my Mother was in denial. When she passed I knew I had to immediately get him care. Two weeks after I brought him ten minutes from me in an assisted living community. He is on a wealth of meds for anxiety, OCD and the alzheimers. I have a very hard time dealing with my Mom's passing so suddenly. I also have so many mixed emotions about my father. It is very hard for me to go see him.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
