Grandma sewing room
So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More

Hi Mary Ann,
My very best friend, more like a brother, had to put his partner into an Alzheimer's facility (actually it is not just for Alzheimer's, it is for dementia too) at age 60. The diagnosis is early onset Alzheimers. They have been together for over 18 years. I know it's not the same but my friend is still grieving. Soon Jimmy will not recognize Tommy. This is harder on the caregiver and lover than it is on the patient.
I am sorry about the seizures. I don't know why they occur but have you tried anti seizure meds? My son gets seizures and as his mother I can't stand it. Some of the meds I am on for mood stabilization are also anti seizure meds.
