Profile Information

About Me:
I was widowed in 1989 leaving me to be the single father of a seven year-old daughter. Through support, therapy and personal mourning activities, I was able to reconcile my loss, integrate life lessons into the fabric of who I am and rebuild a positive and fulfilled life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, author of "Awaken to Good Mourning," speaker and co-founder of "The Journey of Hope Grief Support Center" in Plano, TX.
About my Loss:
My first wife died on January 24, 1989. She was a beloved high school English teacher in addition to my partner and loving mother to our daughter. Her death initiated ripples of grief through our entire community that continue even today. She was dearly loved and deeply missed.
