About Me:
I am a 53 year old woman, married (barely), with 2 adult children
About my Loss:
My mom passed away in September after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in July. She had been diagnosed with lung cancer a year before that and had undergone several rounds of chemo and radiation. I think that once she was diagnosed with the brain tumor, she gave up on life because she deteriorated very quickly. On top of that, my dad just passed away a couple of weeks ago. He was diagnosed with colon cancer 9 years ago and it moved to his lungs a year ago. He was a fighter and never once complained, but once my mom passed he gave up the fight. I guess he died of a broken heart.

Grandma sewing room
