About my Loss:
My husband, my soulmate and my life partner died 5 weeks ago to an accidental drug overdose. I'm so confused and don't understand how this happened. I feel so dumb and betrayed and so much guilt. I knew he recreational used and so did i. He had a rough road with drug use in his past but thought that was all behind him and he was stronger then the drugs and he knew his limits, but He didn't. He reassured me it was just for fun and he wasnt addicted and it helped him relax and stupidly believed him.
We were at the beginning of our life, 3 years together 4 weeks from our 1st wedding anniversary. I thought we were happy, I thought he was happy. He was the life of the party, funny is an understatement. Everyone loved him.
I miss him terribly and feel like I failed him, us and wish I could just go back in time and really talk to him and challenge him and help him. I failed my husband, our marriage and our future.
