Profile Information

About Me:
I'm 62 years old, a widow since May and recently moved from Brooklyn, NY to Southern California. I have a daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren who live 7 minutes away and have helped me cope.
About my Loss:
My husband of 40 years died in May of this year. I miss him terribly as we were very close. He had been sick since 2008 diagnosed with COPD. Eventually, he developed tongue and throat cancer and succumbed to that disease.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
