About my Loss:
Eight years ago the love of my life, my husband of 25 years, became ill. I knew there was something wrong with him because he hard a hard time with balance and memory. Dr. after Dr. insisted there was nothing wrong with him and treated me as if I were a hysterical crazy woman. By the time I found a hospital that took me seriously it was too late. They did not dismiss me and ran tests until they figured out what was wrong. My beloved had a rare brain disorder. By now it was too late to save him and 3 months later, I lost him. My life had been forever changed. Along with being lonely, I have struggled to survive financially.

Yes, I am. I am part of a team that takes people's clothing and transforms them into memorial decorative items. It began when I could not part with my husband's clothes. I knew there had to be some way I could create something with them that I could enjoy in my home. A friend of mine had been making baskets from fabric. She and I got together and along with the baskets designed sturdy fabric flowers, heart wreaths and wall art using my husbands clothing. I thought that there had to be other people that had clothing they just couldn't part with and thought I could turn this into a business. My partner Renee did not have clothing from a lost loved one but literally had every item of clothing her three children ever wore. We transform all sentimental items of clothing into displayable art.
