About Me:
I have been married 26 years to a great guy. We have 4 beautiful daughters who are almost all grown up. I have 2 goofy black and white cocker spaniels who keep me company during the day, as I am a stay at home mom/housewife.
About my Loss:
I lost my Mom July 22, 2013. She had gone into the hospital in Denver, June 19 to have stints put in for some blockages she had in her legs. This went better than they ever hoped for. However, on the day she was to be released, and the day I had headed back to Montana, she began having severe stomach pain. after many tests with no answers, they did exploratory surgery. They found her stomach was dying. To this day, they don't know why. I returned to Denver quickly. Because of her stomach dying, it let toxins into her system. They removed the stomach. Within days, she had 6 organs in failure and her hand was beginning to die. She now had less than a 5% chance of survival. Through the next week, she had good days and bad. 2 weeks later, she was doing better, and they were talking of her care months down the road. After being by her side for 4 weeks, I went home to my family because she was doing well. A week later, she again had severe pain, and this time it was her intestines dying. My dad made the decision to let her go. So after an all night drive back to Denver, I watched my Mom breathe her last breath.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
