About my Loss:
My husband died on May 30, 2012. The day before he was having pain in his chest but refused to go to the hospital. He spent the night at his mom's house and was found dead by her late that night. He had died earlier in the day. I found out he had a weak heart and it had ruptured. He died in his sleep in the position he always sleeps in. That was a great comfort to us knowing he died peacefully and in no pain. We were married 12.5 years and now I feel very alone. It has been 2 months and I am still in shock. I am in my late 30's and my husband was only 41. Beyond doing everyday tasks it is difficult to think beyond the day I am in. However having our dogs with me, they have helped my grieving process and it is as if they know what has happened. I am considering grief counseling.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
