About Me:
I'm a 40 year old widow with a son and 2 daughters.
About my Loss:
My husband of 20 years passed away on July 26th. He was only 59. He was in the hospital for a high fever. He was hospitalized July 15...our wedding anniversary. Two days later he was feeling and sounded great the 2 times we talked on the phone that day. He asked for a bag of clothing and toiletries and as we were driving his things to him at the hospital, we got a phone call that he was in the ICU in a coma. The nurse found him sitting in a chair in his room and his pulse was 20. They worked on him and brought him back after 10 minutes. He was in a coma for 9 days. The cause of death was anoxic brain injury. I slept in the hospital and stayed all day. I didn't want to leave his side for one second. I sobbed and begged him to wake up and come back to us. He looked me straight in the eyes and I could feel the love he was showing the only way he could. That image haunts me. I've had 2 dreams that he has come back to life, or that it was all a nightmare. Its been almost 2 months now and I'm still crying at least once a day.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
