- Mom, grandma, g.grandma. I'm a child of Father Son and Holy Spirit. Am an ordained minister.
- About my Loss:
- My precious grandson passed last Nov 22 2016. He had spent the last 3 yrs most in p.c.i.c.u. in 4 hosp. At first he was over dosed with chemo and 1 added that wasn't protocal.he had sarcoma in his femur. Surgery was done with main bone and growth plate removed n replaced with done bone muscles plates etc. His surgery said he didn't need all the chemo. But after begging, praying, arguing the chemo Dr got her way. Tyler was gave chemo when he shouldn't have been. All his organs shutting down he was sent home to pass, given 24 hrs to 48 to live. His parents got him in a Cleveland children's hosp, then on to Cinninatee oh.where Dr's said he started getting miracles fast. He had no immune system, no bone marrow. Kidney shut down etc. He came back. But he was left with which started out as a perfect heart, total destroyed. He was flown to duke in n.c. there he wore a heart vest n they
Knew he'd need a done heart. Tyler didn't want anyone to die for him to receive a heart. He was there for 8 mod n got to come home for his bd in Nov 2015. He wasn't able to eat much or walk etc. In Mar 17,2017 he was admitted back to Duke. Emergency open heart surgery about 3 straght time. 1 was 14 hr surgery. He was first placed on big Lvad for heart. I'll skip worse. He was not able to talk or eat again . His hand was like it was crippled.he had went thus horrid Sepis,many times. Received 100s plus blood until his body regected blood. Still no immune system . Tiny bit of bone marrow coming back. He fought more then anyone the Dr's said to live. Home on Nov 17,2017 . That was thus night. Acted Lil diff. On fri. By sat his nose was bleeding n family thought it was because of blood thinner. Next morn at 6 am he was rushed to hosp. He was bagged twice and flat lined twice on way. Dr at hosp stayed on font 24 7 with Dr's at cleveland, n duke. He had septic shock. He was pronounced brain day on his birthday yethis precious heart kept beating n when it would stop they'd give epi. They announced him on 22nd at 10 54 am. We thought he was coming home and family would help him with therapy and get better. I told him sat night I had something special for his bd. He shook his head no .I told him we was going to help him get better and that he was home. Head shake.no. I said ask jess and another no. He'd never did that to me be4. We feel he knew he was going. Yet he looked so sad in his beautiful eyes. But he glowed n ppl in all hosp talked of how he shined when he was barley alive even. He should of died 13 times. My precious I can't believe has gone.
