About Me:
I'm from Puerto Rico and living in US for more than 20 years. I have a teenager boy and a blessed marriage for over 25 years.
About my Loss:
In 2015 I lost my Mom and Dad within 9 months of each other. My dad passed away on February 27 and my mom on December 1st. I can't describe this pain and emptiness...I never live with my dad, but I love him so much.My mom...she was my best friend, my sister, my everything. I was taking care of her for the last 10 years because she was very sick. Her last 12 days she was in the hospital with heart problems...I was there everyday between 12 to 13 hours per day. I couldn't stay overnight because I have a knee injury and it was necessary for me to rest to be able to go back the next day...but the day she passed...I arrived to the hospital at 7 am and at 7 pm a friend came to visit and offered to stay...I didn't want to leave but an hour later I did. At 8 pm I went home to rest and be ready for the next day, but I couldn't. My friend left at 11:30 pm. AT 12:06 am I received the call. My mom passed away at 12:02 am and I wasn't there!!! I left her alone!!!

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
