About my Loss:
My Nanny passed away yesterday completely unexpected. She was in the hospital because she had fallen and did not have electricity due to the recent hurricane. The hospital agreed to admit her for the night so she wouldn't have to return to the heat. The next day the decided to keep her again because something had showed up in her bloodwork. Yesterday, they called and told us that she had suffered respiratory arrest passed away. She was 92. I am lucky to have had a grandmother for so long, but I did not get to say goodbye or tell her I loved her. The worst part is- we had an argument and hadn't spoken in almost a month. I feel terrible and hope she knows that I truly did love her.

Grandma sewing room
