About my Loss:
I lost my 49 year old husband two months ago. He started with a cough Memorial Day weekend that was initially diagnosed as bronchitis. As he was not getting better and had a history of GERD, Acid Reflux, and Barret's Esophagus, he knew it had something to do with that when he also started having a hard time swallowing. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal esophageal cancer on July 10th and was given 6-12 months to live. He barely made 7 weeks and passed away August 31st. I am still trying to wrap my head around he has cancer, let alone dying. He kept up with his scopes and did what he was suppose to for his esophagus and cannot believe this has happened.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
