About Me:
I'm a mother of 3 grown children, and 2 stepsons. I was a Realtor for 20 years, then began working with my husband in our business. My husband and I had an amazing marriage filled with so much love, laughter and family. We live in the country on a river, with our wonderful Black Lab, Nick.
About my Loss:
My husband died on January 8, 2013. He had stage 4 renal cell cancer when he was diagnosed in Aug. of 2010. He fought so hard to live and did everything he was supposed to do. He always took care of himself. He had defied the odds before, when he had a heart transplant in 2006. He did so well with no rejection. To have to fight for his life twice, just never seemed fair to me. Yet we know that life isn't fair. He lost this battle, and left a family that loves him deeply behind. I'm trying to figure out who I am now without my best friend and partner for life. I just miss him.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
