About my Loss:
My mentally ill brother slaughtered my mom to death in her own home... I became executive of the estate. I'm now my brothers legal guardian. I had to clean up the mess in her home from the murder.. 5 months later I found the murder weapon in her kitchen.. A few weeks ago my brother was found not guilty by reason of insanity.. But is responsible for my mother's death. This is the outcome my family had prayed for.. I just can't seem to move forward, I can't stop thinking about it. I feel so empty inside. I feel very alone, I can't concentrate on anything but the murder..It was extremely brutal, with over 80 injuries... The brutality of her death haunts me daily, I need to talk about it at times, no one can listen because it's so groosom. I don't know how to get my life back and find happiness.. I don't know who to turn to for help, I feel like I need some one next to me at all times to tell me when to eat, when to shower, how to act.. Ive been very lost, and it's only getting worse...What do I do to get my life back, is it even possible to be happy again??
