About Me:
I am just me. I live alone with 3 cats. I work full time. I do have a lot of friends that want to offer support.
About my Loss:
Lost my mom yesterday 12/13/14. She had suffered a lot through the years with ulcers and the last year falling and breaking bones. Her last fall broke her back, her hand, her fingers and upper arm. She was in a nursing home. The told me she was not doing well but when I found her there the next day completely despondent I was unprepared. They said it could be her pain meds so I had them changed. After 24 hours she still was not eating so I made them call her doc and she was admitted to ER. That care center just let her go and by the time we got her to the hospital, she was in septic shock, severe bladder infection and double pneumonia. I had to hospital do agressive treatment to try and fix her infections, pneumonia and septic shock but she just got worse and her blood turned toxic with severe sepsis. They could only continue to treat her with a breathing tube and feeding tube but since Mom was do not resuscitate, I couldn't allow them to do that. She couldn't get pain help for her injuries during the treatment and she would look at me with tears in her eyes. That is when I knew I had to just make her comfortable and stop the treatment because she wouldnt have wanted the breathing tube, etc. We put her in Hospice on Monday and by Saturday night she was gone.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
