About Me:
I'm 17 years old, still in school doing my A levels and hoping to move onto University to do Childhood Studies and become an Early Years teacher.
About my Loss:
It was July 4th 2012 at 1.37pm. My Nanna was 85 years old but even so her death was so unexpected, she had been in hospital for a week before she went and the speed of her decline was unbelievable. She went from being okay, able to sit up and speak to us and get out of bed to being totally unable to talk or move in the end although she could comprehend what we were saying which gave us the chance to say goodbye and know that she understood us which was very good for us. When i say "us", for the past 7 years its only been me, my mam, my little brother and my nanna. just the four of us and me and my nanna were so so close and now that its just the three of us left i'm so lonely and finding it so so difficult to cope with everything. i have to be strong for the sake of my mam and brother but its horrendous how hard its been. My life is in decline, im sad all the time, i cry almost everyday and i can't sleep at night because i think about everything and it wont let me sleep.

My mom died 4 months ago

My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
