About Me:
I survived a 25 year abusive marriage. I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful, special needs girls. I earned a degree in Economics @ UCLA, phi beta kappa, magna cumm laude & economic achievement awards. 3 years ago, I suffered a double brain aneurysm and have had 2 subsequent brain surgeries. I should not be here today. Apparently, my journey here is not yet completed. Must have a greater purpose.
About my Loss:
After struggling to escape my abusive marriage, I began my journey to heal my life. Unexpectedly, met my soulmate. A beautiful, compassionate, intelligent, honest, witty, creative, supportive, gentle, unconditionally loving man. How blessed we both felt. Created our own family with my 2 girls & his 2 girls. When I almost died. Matt was by my side loving & supporting me & my girls. After my 3rd surgery, he wanted to celebrate & we took our last vacation together. The night we returned, he had emergency surgery and 10 days later he died right before my eyes. Since we were married in our hearts & souls, lived together, it was not legal. I had no rights. Not only did I lose my best friend, soulmate, I was denied contact with his girls. His memorial was a farce. Again I was excluded. Then, our friends ostracized me. Easier that then to accept his death. I was a constant reminder of their loss. Ignore me equated to denying Matt's death. So I no longer existed. The day his heart stopped beating, my heart shattered.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
