About Me:
I'm a single 27 year old woman who is an in-patient medical oncology RN and feel unsupported by my family (my dad and sister) in the wake of my mom's death.
About my Loss:
My mom passed away April 22, 2013 after an almost 2 year battle with breast cancer. We thought she was in remission and her port was removed on September 11, 2012 and she was in the hospital 2 days later for us to find out the cancer had spread all over her liver and to some places on her bones.
She went through extensive and countless treatments of chemotherapy to prolong her life and time with us, but we all knew our end game. Into the hospital she went again in early April to only be transferred to an in-patient hospice where she would take her last breath 10 days later with all of us at her bedside.
My mom was my best friend, my love and my rock. She was the glue that held our family together and I don't know how to move forward without her. I just miss my mommy.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
