About my Loss:
my son had a TBI Nov 2017 and after a week on life support, I took him off. I held him while he gasped for breath, I watched him turn blue and his body slowly shut down. He was my word. He was my only son - I raised him by myself and gave him the world. He was my friend, we laughed, we traveled, we dreamed, we talked and I would have sold my soul to trade places with him. I cannot believe that this is his story...I miss him so bad that I find it hard to even want to be here without him...I am lost, I am heart broken, I am shattered beyond anything I can explain. My physical body is here but my heart and soul died with my baby. I don't know why I am here, who I am or feel there is any reason to go on...yet I am here and have too...I simply loved him. He was a good person, a good young man, the world was in front of him...he was 18.
