About Me:
I am a 29 year old stay-at-home-mom of two. I am married and live in Texas. But I am originally from sweet home Alabama! Roll Tide!! I am a Christian. I am a home body and the majority of my time is spent with my family!
About my Loss:
On Nov.6.12 I lost my younger brother Glenn to a methadone drug overdose. He was only 13 months younger than me so we were very close. We had a horrible child hood and that drew us closer than ever. It was us against the world. Glenn and I had remained close, the best of friends even into adult hood. Although I got married this past year moved away we never went more than three months without seeing each other. Glenn had struggled with addiction all his life, from 13 years old. Later, in adult hood, after being saved by Christ, he was a lot better. But in 2006 he was in a car accident that broke his back...leaving him in chronic pain. Instead of street drugs, he was now addicted to his pain meds. After a horrible year of break-up, job loss, and other personal defeat he was going down hill. He admitted himself into rehab in Sep.2012. He finished successfully in the later part of October. But went straight back to the doctor. He had a script filled on Oct.22.2012 and OD'd Oct.25.2012. My family and I got the call and spent a 8 days with him in the ICU on life support until finally on Nov.6.2012 he passed away. My life is abnormal. I am still finding this very hard to accept. On the surface I am "fine" for my fanmily and others. But deep down, I am devastated. Crushed. Constanly sad.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
