Grandma sewing room
So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More

I understand. My father left my mother with 4 daughters when I was just a little kid. His actions deeply affected every one of us for our entire lives. Your fathers death of course affects you for all of these years. It is the loss, the absence of a fathers love, neutering and guidance that you were unable to experience. Mom never got over how deeply he hurt her. Mom raised us on her own. I lost her 3 weeks ago. She was my everything. My mother died from complications of chemo as well. No one on this site gives pitty...they give understanding and friendship. I am sad for you because you hurt. You have pain and I feel it in your words. How is it affecting you?
Hi Kristina and welcome to our support network. Your story affected me because I lost my husband and we have a child a few months younger than you were when you lost your dad. I worry about her getting through the loss. I am so sorry. I hope your few memories are good and if so, try to focus on that and understand that loss knows no boundaries and does not discriminate. In what ways is it affecting your relationship?
