About Me:
My Aunt Patti was murdered by her son's girlfriend. Her son and grandson live with me and I am helping to raise Patti's grandson.
About my Loss:
I miss my Aunt Patti everyday and all the time. There were so many times we, as a family gave up on her, but she loved us all unconditionally! For a while after her murder, she would come to me in my dreams looking so beautiful and at peace with this smile on her face and just glowing. I knew she was okay. But selfishly, I want her here!! I know she is thankful that I fight for our family to do the right thing by Dan and Jack. I think she knew I always would! I think she is surprised at how much I cry still, I know I never told her how much I loved her when I had the chance. I also let her take the blame for some things that were not her fault. I am so sorry for that! When it comes to Jack, it breaks my heart and makes me so mad that he was robbed of such a generous and loving woman. The only grandparent Jack is left with is the mother of a killer and my cousin, Dan is stuck in the middle.
