- About Me:
- I am 25 years old.I have 1 child,a daughter,who is 7.I recently moved back to Indiana after 7 years of living in Missouri.
- About my Loss:
- My mother,Janice,was tragically taken away in a single car accident on November 2,2010.She was 48 with 2 children,myself and Julia(16).She was the one person I could call no matter what it was about. My mother and I didn't have a relationship for almost 3years but I still considered her my best friend.In May 2010 Julia came to visit me in Missouri but my mom choose to stay behind "because she would come down on her own." She planned to visit me by the end of 2010.After my sister's visit we talked 3-4 times a week.I even got her to get her own facebook,I lived on facebook and seen this as a great way to keep in touch.I got into some legal issues and needed her assistance so her visit was planned for early November.3 days before my court date,I noticed that my grandma(my mom's mom) called me at 6:30am and so I knew right off the bat that something was wrong.I was getting my daughter ready for school and then I heard a knock on the door,it was a police officer.My husband went outside and shortly came back inside and said "There is no way I can go to work today" with his blue eyes I seen pain.I got my child on the bus.He called his boss and then 8:30am my grandma called again and it was my aunt,who I didn't speak with ever since my move.She gave the phone to my uncle and he tried making small talk but I knew something was wrong,in every since of the word.I told him "I know something is wrong and all I'm going to ask is mom or grandma?" When he said mom,the phone dropped and I started saying "no not my mom,my mommy" over and over.12hours to the time of death I was on the phone with my mom talking about my issues and she was going to be at my house on November 3rd.I believe she was on her way to Missouri at the time of the crash.I'm just heartbroken and torn down from this all.
