- About my Loss:
- I lost the love of my life 5 years ago. I had open heart surgery in Feb 2017, Chad died in October of the same year. He had a heart attack at 42 years old that killed him. He was my rock, my best friend, a wonderful father, and the love of my life.
I don't go anywhere or have any friends because I have shut down. I pray to God that he takes me soon so I can see my Chad again. I just don't know what to do about the pain.
I'm also a recovering drug addict, I went nuts after Chad s death and think I was trying to die with the amount of drugs I did. I did that until a year ago, I have been sober for almost a year. My days are filled with pain and I know I wouldn't feel it if I was high. I need to get through this before it takes me to even a deeper and darker place.
