Profile Information

About Me:
I am 43 , a mother of 6 , grandmother of 2 . I am married and a stay at home Mom . I also homeschool , my 2 youngest daughters (ages 8 & 5 ).
About my Loss:
I lost my Mom on June 15 ,2011 . I am finding it very difficult to get over losing her ! She was my whole world as a child ,she raised me by herself , I have two sisters that were 12 and 16 when I was born , so for many years it was just my Mom and I ! She also helped me raise my oldest three children , when my first marriage fell apart ! I often feel badly because there were times we didn't always get along , because I was struggling to become independent , and she in her worries about her daughters plus living through two abusive marriages and being a child of the Great Depression had become bitter and non trusting at times ! So I think I and my sisters are taking it very hard because of the times when we didn't get along ! Our Mom was still always there for us whenever we needed her , but even though we tried to be there for her too, I think sometimes we disappointed her ! I am here hoping to get over some of the guilt , and even though I will miss her , hope I can look forward to the day we meet again !

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
