Traumatic loss of an only child
I started this group so that people who have lost their only child or the only child that remained, as in my case, could come together because I believe people that did have a child or children who now have none have special issues.
Loss of a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide
If you have lost a loved one to alcohol, substance abuse or suicide please share your story or feelings here. Share the love and beauty of the one you lost. Losing someone any of these ways is not natural and can be hard to understand and ask why? I lost my Mother to an overdose 9 years ago. She also suffered from major depression. From the bottom of my heart I am very sorry for your loss. No mother should have to experience what you are going through. You need to lean on your children and grandchildren. Animals to help you feel better. My mother passed away in September and there are times I feel like I can't go on. But my son helps and my animals help. I know it's not the same but know that you are your children's works. They need you so much. I am your sons age. My life will never be right without my mom. She was my best friend my counselor. She just always made me feel right again. You are that still for all of your kids. I hope they found the garbage that hurt you're family so much. God Bless you honey.
