Profile Information

About Me:
I'm 41 and an only child. I come from a military family. Lived in mostly Las Vegas Nevada and Northern Virginia near D.C. I am single and have no children and at the moment don't have any pets to talk about but hope to get a couple in the future.

I suffer from Degenerative Disc Disease in my lower back. I also have Lumbar Spinal Stenosis and supposed to go to see a nuro-surgeon in August. All other treatments haven't worked so for now I just manage the pain with meds.

Lots more to me and could babble on and on but will leave it there for now. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try and answer them.
About my Loss:
I lost my dad suddenly on June 11, of this year. He was working at his computer, my mom walked in to talk to me while I ate dinner and 30 min later she walked back into the computer room and he was gone. It was so fast and so unexpected I'm finding it hard to cope and wrap my head around it.

I've contemplated seeing a shrink but it's hard to find a good one. I still may. I already suffer from GAD and Depression I take Cymbalta and Wellbutrin and was put on Ativan when my dad died to help me cope and keep calm. I get panic attacks now from time to time.

My mom is having a tough time as well. I might tell her about this place if it works for me. She could use some help as well, it's been so tough.

Grandma sewing room
