About Me:
Looking to talk and listen to those in a similar situation. Not just death of a mother but death from fighting terminal cancer. Through tragedy growth can occur and I am seeking to find growth, uunderstanding and compassion for those in the same situation as myself.
About my Loss:
My Mother; stage four lung cancer. We fought the battle for 3.5 years, over two years we found success but the last six months it traveled to the brain, resulting in a horrific battle. She passed away on March 30, 2014, as my father, brothers and I surrounded her with love and permission to go. I miss her dearly, although the pain and struggles that came with lung cancer are finally released from her body. For that I am grateful, however now I need to find a balance on how to proceed on without her, all the while being there for my dad, who was married to her for 49 years.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
