About Me:
My name is Kelly Caufield and I reside In Meridian, Idaho. I'm 39 years old. I love writing, reading, being outdoor and I love my family.
About my Loss:
In 1992 at the ripe ole age of 15, we'd all taken a family vacation up to The Frank Wilderness-River of no return in Macky Bar, Idaho. I had learned when I was 12 to drive ATV's; rather known as 4-wheelers. I was there with my sister and her family who consisted of her 4 year old son, Zach and her 2 year old, Austin. On the morning of September 6th would be the day that my whole entire world would change, at first for the worse. Zach asked me to take him to the bridge where he loved to fish. So away we as the adults waved us by. Along the dirt path I drove extremely slow, from out of nowhere a medium sized rock caused us to tumble down huge boulders after boulders until we finally landed both trapped under this heavy machine. Even though I screamed and screamed with everything I had inside of me, it was too late. I took hold of his warm, little hand as he passed away.

Then my dad just passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the end of August, 2016. I was his 2nd caretaker.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
