About Me:
I am a 26 year graduate student that works full time and married to my wonderful husband.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom when I was 24, she lost her battle to lung cancer after two years. My mom was never the kind to go to the doctor but after my brothers wedding in 2010 she began acting strange. After her bursting into tears she went to the doctor where it was found she had a brain tumor that contained ling cancer cells. After rounds of chemo and radiation she went in to remission. Christmas of 2011 things began to go south and she complained about her tailbone hurting, we thought she had just fallen and bruised her tailbone, little did we know the cancer had returned. She had a stroke in the beginning of 2012 but was battling back from that and getting stronger. I'll never forger it was on July 10th we were delivered the biggest blow her cancer had returned. She was so determined to beat it but kept getting weaker and weaker. I will never forget the call that she had less than weeks to live. My siblings and I dropped everything to be there for her during the last two weeks. Ever since loosing my momma I feel like my life is in shambles. My husband has been my biggest supporter but I just want my life back. I miss her but I know she would want me go on. I carry her with me at all times but I wish I could have her with me.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
